Mihai ROTARIU is the Head of Communications of the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate.

After studying Comparative Politics at the University of Bucharest, local history on his own and publishing 3 books, he earned 2 Master’s degrees in diplomacy and national security from the Romanian Institute for Diplomacy and the National Defence College. he subsequently joined Romania’s national cybersecurity authority CERT-RO, which was replaced in September 2021 by the National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC).

His mission as the Head of Communications of the organization is to help protect European citizens from cyber threats. In this capacity, I am the voice of DNSC on cybersecurity awareness and digital education matters, with an international resonance.
