Andrew GREENOUGH

Andrew Greenough has served as an Economic Officer at U.S. Embassy Bucharest since April 2019. In this role, he focuses on cyber, telecommunications, and digital economy policy, as well as capacity building efforts to enhance bilateral cyber and digital affairs cooperation under the U.S.-Romania Strategic Partnership. Prior to his current assignment, Greenough served as Vice Consul at the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador from 2016 to 2018. Before joining the U.S. Foreign Service, he worked on the legislative staff of a Member of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives. Greenough graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Science, Technology, and International Affairs.
