AIM
The aim of this training is to increase the skills of law enforcement officers and judiciary authorities in the course of criminal investigations to identify the existence of crypto currency wallets, trace transactions on the blockchain and identify the beneficiaries of illegal transactions.
OBJECTIVES
The participants will gain knowledge about:
- The structure behind virtual currencies;
- Good practices to trace transactions on the blockchain;
- Obfuscation techniques and the role of the mixers to anonymize transactions.
TARGET GROUP
- Law enforcement;
- Judicial staff;
- Students from Police Academy.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the training the participant will be able to:
- Present the evolution of cryptocurrencies;
- Trace cryptocurrencies;
- Share good practices on cooperation between private and public sectors in criminal investigations involving cryptocurrencies.
