Ioan-Cosmin MIHAI
Ioan-Cosmin MIHAI is a trainer, researcher, and author with an experience of more than 18 years in cybersecurity, cybercrime, and open-source intelligence (OSINT). With a Ph.D. and postdoctoral studies completed in cybersecurity, he has developed various research projects, published scientific articles, and written books and studies in this field.
He is an associate professor at the Romanian Police Academy and a cybercrime training officer at the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL). He is also a visiting professor at several prestigious universities, including the University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB) and “Carol I” National Defence University in Romania, as well as GNA University and CT University in India.
Ioan-Cosmin MIHAI is a trainer and consultant for various European Union agencies and institutions, including the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL), European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA), General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police (IGPR), and Romanian National Institute of Magistracy (INM).
As a founder and vice-president of the Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance (RAISA), he actively promotes and develops cybersecurity in Romania. He is the editor-in-chief of the scientific International Journal of Information Security and Cybercrime (IJISC) and a member of the organizational committee for the International Conference on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime (IC3) and CyberCon Romania conference.
