OBJECTIVES
The seminar aims to present to the participants the legal regulations regarding virtual currencies, the practical ways of using them in the real economy, and the way of converting money. At the same time, the participants will have the opportunity to understand the functioning of Blockchain technology and will be able to carry out checks on the transactions made on the Blockchain system; the seminar also has a practical component.
TARGET GROUP
Employees who carry out activities in the anti-fraud, AML, internal control and audit, compliance, cards, bank security, and payments departments.

The participants will gain knowledge about:
- Legislative aspects; European directives and other international standards regarding AML activity through virtual currencies;
- Classic virtual currencies vs cryptocurrencies;
- How Blockchain works;
- Blockchain analysis;
- The cryptocurrency ecosystem;
- Bitcoin currency (appearance, development, use);
- Electronic wallets;
- Crypto-currency mining;
- Money laundering through the use of cryptocurrencies;
- Mixing crypto-currencies;
- Electronic currency exchange services;
- Measures of customer knowledge;
- Case studies.

CERTIFICATE
At the end of the course, the participants will be given a certificate issued by the Romanian Banking Institute (RBI) (under the auspices of the founding members: BNR and ARB), with 7 Continuing Professional Development credits (CPDs).
